Hot, repurposed painting, editioned floppies,

Hot.. the Movie is my first movie. It is the animation of an actual painting, which as part of the Hot installation was cut up and sewn into various consumer objects, and sold off piece by piece. The video was also sold in a signed, limited edition of floppy disks.
This piece talks about the commodification of imagery through digital distribution. The painting finds its new, practical life through cheap and portable souvenirs.
